Large Vase by Guido Gambone Italy late 1950s A large Gambone vase of classic form. This piece is unusual in having been made by Guido Gambone himself, as indicated by his personal signature, in script on the side of the piece. Possibly a prototype for subsequent production examples of the same design, this piece was originally a lamp-base. (The only detail which identifies it as anything other than a vase is the hole in the base. It could be easily set up as a lamp again if required.)
